Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide specialized support within a school setting. This role involves working with students to enhance their ability to participate fully in educational activities, addressing physical, sensory, and cognitive challenges.
Location: Rexburg, ID
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized occupational therapy services to students.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement effective intervention plans.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy goals as needed.
- Provide consultation and training to school personnel to promote student success.
- Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with families.
- Travel to multiple school sites as required.
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of Idaho.
- Experience working in educational settings preferred.
- Strong understanding of pediatric therapy needs and school-based interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage caseload and documentation efficiently.
- Willingness to travel between school locations.
